Alexandra Lolavar

With over a decade of experience promoting science and conservation, Alexandra Lolavar is passionate about connecting with community leaders to advance their unique missions. Before joining BWJF, Alexandra was a Senior Associate at Isaacson, Miller, a leading executive search firm serving organizations that advance the public good, where she specialized in recruiting exceptional leaders in the STEM and conservation fields. Alexandra previously served as Research Program Coordinator at Florida Atlantic University’s lab schools, overseeing initiatives that provided dual-enrolled high school students with immersive research experiences. 

Alexandra holds a Ph.D. in Integrative Biology from Florida Atlantic University, where her research examined how rainfall and drought impact Florida’s sea turtle population. Alexandra remains active in community efforts and serves on the Board of Friends of Okeeheelee Nature Center. She previously served on the Board of Trustees for a nonprofit sea turtle rehabilitation center and was a member of the City of Boynton Beach's Sustainability Advisory Team.
